Restructuring
MHM provides advice to clients willing to restructure their operations. Restructuring may be motivated by various reasons: tax issues, disposition of unprofitable, undesirable businesses or the need for downsizing or transformation of the business.
MHM helps troubled companies or stakeholders in reaching reorganization solutions that may involve spin-off transactions and the breaking up of businesses to release locked up value, closing-down operations, selling assets, refinancing and renegotiating debts (including tax debts), renegotiations with suppliers and outplacing employees and reviewing incentive packages.
MHM works hand in hand with its clients, creating financial and corporate recovery alternatives in judicial or extra-judicial procedures involving shareholders and stakeholders.
MHM uses its knowledge on capital markets and corporate and financial transactions to help clients renegotiate financial agreements and create financing alternatives.
MHM further represents creditors in bankruptcy or reorganization court procedures, in procedures for credit collection as well as in creditors’ meetings and committees.
